Text Box: Dr. Herrema is a fully licensed psychologist, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who provides services to a wide range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults and couples/families. His advanced training, broad experience, and over-riding God-centered world view provide the foundation for his work in helping individuals achieve the contentment, satisfaction and peace that are available in their relationships and their lives. Academically and experientially, Dr. Herrema has a specialty in the area of child and adolescent psychology. Childhood depression and anxiety difficulties, learning/academic problems, attention and concentration deficits, social problems and behavioral control difficulties are among those he has treated. At the same time, he has training and extensive experience with adults, addressing a multitude of areas including anxiety disorders, depression, thought problems, addictive patterns of behavior and relationship difficulties. Psychological evaluations, focused on a number of clinical issues, are a routine part of Dr. Herrema’s practice as well.
